Congratulations to our students Allison Yue '26 and Maegan Gomez '25 for meeting the eligibility criteria for the prestigious National Recognition Programs! These programs honor students who demonstrate academic excellence and identify as First Generation, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Indigenous or Native (including Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander), or who attend school in a rural area or small town.
Eligibility requires students to:
- Take the Fall 2023 PSAT/NMSQT or Spring PSAT 10 and score in the top 10% of test takers in their state.
- Or, earn a score of 3 or higher on two or more distinct AP exams taken in 9th or 10th grade.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least B+ (3.3 or 87-89%) by the time of submission.
Allison and Maegan embody the determination and academic achievement celebrated by this recognition. Their achievements serve as a powerful reminder of the value of programs that celebrate and support students from diverse communities and experiences.
We are proud to support these outstanding students and look forward to seeing their continued success! Go Tigers!
